About
Constance D. Coleman

Founder. Advocate. Heart of the Coleman Law Group.

Constance D. Coleman, founder & managing partner of Coleman Law Group, has represented clients in Florida and across the country. To her, the practice of law is much more than a job —it’s a calling to assist others in rebuilding, healing, and finding hope in justice.

After completing her law degree at Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, Constance worked with public defenders and prosecutor offices, where she became well-versed in how the justice system impacts people from all walks of life.

Her journey in law took a deeply personal turn when she lost her brother in a motorcycle accident. This tragedy made her more determined than ever before to fight for justice and ignited her passion for personal injury law.

“I turned my grief into a purpose. Helping accident victims is how I honor my brother’s memory. I know their pain, and I fight for them every step of the way.”
She is as passionate about her immigration clients as her other areas of law, recognizing the bravery of each new beginning. To her, every immigration is a fight for hope, families, and continuance. “Immigration is not merely paperwork but about people, their aspirations, and their future.” Keeping herself connected to her love of God and helping, her diverse outreach includes cycling, travel, and family, and she continues to serve, educate her community, and support causes devoted to child welfare, education, and homelessness.

At Coleman Law Group, Constance makes sure that her team is not just skilled in what they do but also understands the empathy and compassion it requires to deal with such complexities of people’s lives. Her clients lay their trust in her not only for her legal skills but also for the heart she puts into every case and her determination for justice.

Constance has built a career based on compassion, purpose, and a genuine belief that she was “made with a heart for people.” Even before becoming an attorney, Constance had the deep privilege of connecting with all types of people and living their lives, which helped develop the empathy and resilience she uses today in her passage through law. She was serving in the public defender’s office, the prosecutor’s office, and later as a litigation attorney in Florida. After losing her brother in a motorcycle accident, Constance’s life changed forever. That experience set her on a lifelong work and passion for personal injury law, as well as a passion for serving people impacted by accidents with heart and grit.

Constance also serves around immigration law, helping individuals and family members pursue a safe, bright, viable life in the United States. Whether she is advocating for the injured or guiding an immigrant through a life-changing process, Constance serves her clients with natural care, zealous advocacy, and a desire to make an impact—one client at a time, one story at a time, one healing process at a time.

So, when you choose Constance D. Coleman, you are not only choosing a fierce and trustworthy lawyer, but you are also choosing a compassionate listener and a trusted ally who believes in you and wants to make a difference.
